We live in a world and at a time where we are often encountered with different challenges and difficulties. Thus, with the genuine desire to help you beat them, experienced USA-based Business Leaders and Professionals have come together to start HelpDesk.
At Help Desk, we believe in creating sustainable opportunities for underprivileged communities to improve their livelihoods. One of our recent initiatives has been the launch of food stalls that provide individuals with a chance to earn a living while contributing to their community. These stalls offer a variety of fresh, local meals and snacks, giving small business owners the opportunity to generate income while also serving others.
In partnership with local organizations and volunteers, we’ve been able to set up these stalls in high-traffic areas, where they not only provide delicious food but also create a sense of belonging and hope.
This initiative is part of our larger mission to combat poverty by empowering individuals to become self-sufficient.
Founded in February 2018 by Sister Hafsa Afham, HelpDesk has been a beacon of hope and support for underprivileged individuals across communities. With a heart full of kindness and a deep commitment to service, Sister Hafsa has dedicated the past 8 years to assisting people in need—whether by helping them find jobs, securing medical insurance, or providing financial guidance and support. Her vision to unite people and create a network of mutual aid led to the creation of HelpDesk, a platform that fosters a sense of community where individuals can support one another and uplift those facing difficult circumstances.
At Help Desk, we are committed to empowering underprivileged communities by creating sustainable livelihood opportunities. One of our recent initiatives has been the setup of food stalls that allow individuals to earn a living by selling local meals and snacks, fostering entrepreneurship and community engagement. This project has been made possible thanks to the generous support of donors and volunteers from Hyderabad, who have provided essential funding and resources. With their help, we’ve been able to provide the necessary tools, training, and initial support for stall owners, ensuring they have the chance to thrive. Through this initiative, we aim to not only offer a source of income but also to inspire hope and independence among those who need it most, bridging communities across the globe in the spirit of giving.
One of HelpDesk’s key initiatives is the distribution of food packages to elderly and underprivileged individuals, ensuring that no one has to go to bed hungry. Recognizing the particular vulnerability of senior citizens, HelpDesk has focused efforts on old age homes, delivering essential food packages filled with nutritious meals to ensure that the elderly have access to proper nourishment. Through these initiatives, HelpDesk is addressing the immediate needs of those who often have limited access to daily essentials, while also spreading kindness and warmth across the community.
The food packages, thoughtfully curated with a balanced mix of essential food items, provide both sustenance and comfort to those who need it most. With the support of generous donors and volunteers, many of whom come from within the community, HelpDesk continues to make a meaningful impact. This initiative is just one example of how HelpDesk brings Sister Hafsa’s vision to life, creating a ripple effect of compassion that strengthens bonds and ensures no one is left behind.
Food Distribution at Old Age Homes in Hyderabad
At Help Desk, we are deeply committed to supporting the elderly, especially those in need of care and companionship. Recently, we organized a food distribution drive at an old age home in Hyderabad, where we provided nutritious meals to the residents. Understanding the importance of ensuring that the elderly have access to healthy food, we focused on delivering meals that were not only delicious but also rich in essential nutrients. The initiative brought joy to the residents, many of whom rarely have the opportunity to enjoy a warm, home-cooked meal. This activity is part of our ongoing efforts to support senior citizens and ensure they feel valued, respected, and cared for. The generosity of our volunteers and donors, including those from Hyderabad, made this event possible, and we are grateful for their continued support as we work to improve the lives of the elderly in our community.
